Southwest Truck Driver Training Recognized as Schneider National’s Top CDL School in Recruited Drivers

Schneider National has recognized Southwest Truck Driving School for outstanding performance in the first quarter of 2024. Schneider, one of the largest trucking companies in the United States, recruited and employed more of graduates from Southwest Truck Driver Training than from any other CDL school in the nation.

“Not only was Southwest number one last quarter, but twice as many [of their] grads were hired than [from] the number two school,” said Marci Dwyer, Recruiter for Schneider National.

Rob Reich, Schneider’s Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, agreed: “Southwest is leading the way for us in hires.” He thanked Southwest Truck Driver Training for our great CDL training program and support of Schneider as an employer.

Southwest Truck Driver Training has been privileged to partner with Schneider for years. For instance, Schneider is invited to each of Southwest Truck Driver Training’s locations’ career fairs, where our graduates have the opportunity to meet with representatives from the company. Our students are typically very impressed by what Schneider has to say and offer—and vice versa.
