WHY CHOOSE SOUTHWEST’s PHOENIX CAMPUS
Our campus has an excellent record of success, with hundreds of students graduating yearly. About 94% of our students earn a license and find a job right after training.
Further, we have state-of-the-art classrooms, sound systems, equipment, and learning materials.
Unlike many other schools, we don't use nearly obsolete vehicles that may be older than you are. Instead, our trucks are low-mileage full sleeper vehicles with 53-foot trailers. This is likely the type you'll get when you start your career.
Also, we train on both automatic and manual transmissions—a rarity in the industry.
At Southwest Truck Driver Training school in Phoenix, you learn from the best. Our instructors are state-certified examiners with at least three years of over-the-road experience. Most have five or more years under their belts.
SOUTHWEST TRUCK DRIVER TRAINING CAREER SUPPORT
We'll be by your side when it's time to look for work. We're not owned by a trucking company, so you can shop your talents to different employers.
We invite some of the most respected companies to recruit at our Phoenix trucking school. Whether you are interested in OTR jobs, local work, and more, we can refer you to companies needing those drivers.
In conjunction with our Las Vegas and Tucson schools, we host up to six job fairs yearly.
When you train with us, you receive job help for the rest of your life. Our success depends on your success!

"My classroom instructor was Doug. His vast knowledge of the industry was helpful during the learning stages. He is a very intelligent man but can teach at a level [so] that all can succeed. Also, his countless stories kept the class light and took off the pressure sometimes."
"The course instructor John was incredible. To take [...] completely different personalities and teach them how to drive a commercial truck in 70 hours is remarkable. Incredible patience, knowledge and a very funny personality."
