Southwest Truck Driver Training (SWTDT), Arizona’s leading CDL training provider, invites prospective students, current students, and the community to attend its Annual Truck Driver Open House & Career Fair on Friday, November 14th at the Phoenix campus.
Meet Employers Hiring CDL Drivers
The open house brings together students and employers for on-site interviews and pre-hire opportunities. Recruiters from more than fifteen local, regional, and national trucking companies will be on campus to meet qualified candidates and discuss immediate job opportunities.

Southwest Truck Driver Training’s annual Open House & Career Fair has helped hundreds of Arizonans launch successful truck driving careers. The event typically attracts over 100 attendees each year, creating a dynamic environment where students, employers, and community partners connect.

Class A and Class B CDL Training Programs
SWTDT offers comprehensive CDL training programs at both its Phoenix and Tucson campuses:
Class A CDL Training Prepares students to drive tractor-trailers and combination vehicles. Training covers pre-trip inspections, backing maneuvers, highway driving, safety protocols, and hours of service regulations.
Class B CDL Training Prepares students for careers driving straight trucks, buses, and commercial vehicles. Curriculum includes vehicle operation, air brake systems, and city/highway driving skills.
Endorsements & Refresher Courses SWTDT also offers endorsement training (tanker, hazmat, doubles/triples) and refresher courses for experienced drivers looking to update their skills.
