Campus Director - Tucson

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000 Annually

 

Southwest Truck Driver Training is currently interested in reviewing resumes for a highly motivated Campus Director at our Tucson campus. Unlike many leadership positions, you will mostly be working Monday-Friday. This position would require some travel for meetings and trainings, and candidate would act as relief for the same position at other campuses if and when necessary. Key Accountabilities

  • Recruiting, engaging, training and developing campus staff.
  • Modeling and demonstrating the SWTDT culture.
  • Maximizing the customer experience.
  • Consistently reviewing and approving campus processes and procedures to maximize SWTDT effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Achieving the financial performance goals set for the campus.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations and company policies and procedures related to, but not limited to, student enrollment.
  • Assisting in lead distribution management.
  • Monitoring the daily/weekly activities of the admissions and training department teams to ensure goals are attained.
  • Managing compliance with student enrollment process, including inquiries, phone screens, and interviews.
  • Meeting or exceeding enrollment objectives established by the VP, Administration.  
  • Direct the implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and work standards.
  • Monitor and direct daily operations to ensure that policies and procedures are being followed, that goals and objectives are met, and that services are being provided efficiently and effectively; take corrective action as necessary; personally, handles the most difficult, sensitive, or controversial projects for the campus.
  • Monitor the campus’s budget; oversees financial well-being of the campus by analyzing cost effectiveness and directing cost control activities; prepares, submits, and justifies budget enhancement requests.
  • Plan, organize, administer, review, and evaluate the work of office support and operational staff. 
  • Provide for the selection, training, professional development, and work evaluation of subordinate staff; makes recommendations on hiring, termination, promotion, and discipline as required.
  • Confer with and represents the campus in meetings with local, state, and federal departments and divisions; serves as the campus representative with a variety of public, business and community organizations; fosters collaborative relationships to benefit of the campus and SWTDT.
  • Prioritize and allocate available campus resources; review and evaluate program and service delivery, makes recommendations for improvement, and ensures maximum effective service provision. 
  • Develop systems and maintains records that provide for the proper evaluation, control, and documentation of assigned activities prepares and directs the preparation of a variety of written correspondence. Reports, procedures, directives, and other materials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO/VP, Operations/VP, Administration.

 

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of management/leadership experience highly preferred.
  • 5 years of management/leadership experience required.
  • 3-5 years of successful admissions experience/strong sales experience is preferred.
  • Bilingual – English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to manage, motivate and foster a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, spoken and written.
  • Persuasive communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer focus and integrity always.
  • Ability to work extended hours when needed to meet business objectives.
  • Ability to travel a must.

 

Benefits:

This is a salaried position plus quarterly bonus potential.  Salary is typically in the $70-$80k range but is commensurate with experience.
