ABOUT SOUTHWEST TRUCK DRIVER TRAINING'S NORTH LAS VEGAS CAMPUS

Our driving school in Las Vegas is family-owned and operated, and our instructors are state-certified. You’ll get personalized instruction, especially with our favorable student-to-teacher ratio in the behind-the-wheel portion of your training.

We use updated, low-mileage trucks and offer either manual or automated manual transmission for training, so students have the option of learning valuable skills on different types of equipment. Our Class A vehicles are full sleeper tractors with 53-foot trailers — similar to what you'd drive professionally in an over-the-road (OTR) job.

As a result, we welcome some of the biggest and most respected trucking companies in the U.S. to recruit our students and graduates.

We have relationships with leading trucking companies. Our partners include May Trucking, Werner Enterprises, Covenant Transport, Swift Transportation, and Schneider National. We also host several job fairs yearly to help our students find work. Our career services team works with over 100 local carriers and employers, so let us help you find the right place to drive!

Aided by our career services and connections, Southwest Truck Driver Training students can attend school and go on to get a CDL job with an attractive starting salary.

Southwest Truck Driver Training graduates can take advantage of our lifetime Career Services assistance program. So whether you graduated from our school 20 years ago or 20 months ago, we are here to help you navigate your trucking career.

Every year, nine out of 10 of our students (roughly 350-450 drivers) finish school, earn their licenses, and find work not long after they graduate. Many even start the employment process while still finishing school and have a job waiting for them upon graduation and licensure.
